Dentures & Partials

Missing Teeth?  Aren't ready for Implants?

A denture is a dental appliance that replaces missing teeth and helps provide support fo the lips and cheeks. Typically, complete dentures are used when a patient has no existing teeth and are usually made of pink tissue colored acrylic resin with plastic or porcelain teeth. Upper dentures cover the roof of the mouth while a lower denture is "U" shaped to leave room for the tongue. Dentures can be attached to dental implants for added stability.

Partial dentures are dental appliances used when there are still healthy, natural teeth remaining. Partials are composed of a metal frame covered with pink acrylic resin and plastic/porcelain teeth. Partials may also be attached to implants if desired.

Questions?

  • How do I get started?
We begin by evaluation your current dental state and listening to your expectations. Impressions are obtained so the dental lab can begin fabricating the actual appliance. The entire denture process takes several appointments to properly determine the fit, bite, and location of the denture teeth. This specific process ensures we make an appliance that is less "denture like" and as natural looking as possible.
